We know that this pandemic and the months of missed schooling will have a very significant and negative effect that will stretch far into the future and impact on each individual child and their life prospects. Children who are already disadvantaged will be disadvantaged even further becoming a lost generation. I've just been rereading ,' Intelligence and how to get it' by psychologist Richard Nisbett and I came across this little snippet,' A year of school adds as much to IQ scores as two years of age'. ( page 195 )
