The 'International Foundation for Effective Reading Instruction' (IFERI) at the time of this posting is in its formative stages.
The core committee brings together people of many different roles and responsibilities including those who have influenced governmental policies, researchers, teacher-trainers and parents:

IFERI has very close links with the UK Reading Reform Foundation, the National Right to Read Foundation (USA), the Learning Difficulties Australia organisation and other similar organisations.
Supporters are very welcome whether as organisations or individuals.
There is an active message forum with a variety of topics.
