New UK produced App for iPad. WriteOn Phonics. Synthetic phonics app designed for KS1/2

''Use this app to build words, practice a particular sound or rehearse spellings. Use tiles on their own, trace over them or copy the words onto the handwriting lines. The perfect tool for preparing children for the UK Year 1 Phonics Screening Test, developing spelling skills as children learn to read or supporting older children who have gaps in their phonic knowledge''

I tried this with my five year old niece, and it is quite good. I could not figure out getting the sound to work. I have to say, and call me old fashioned, but pencil and paper, or white board and pen, is so much more satisfying, and easier.i suppose novelty has got value though. :???:
