Paul jennings doesn't let you email via his site to say your piece - tried that. And believe it or not he was , apparently, a special ed. teacher!

Lesley- I read 'Reading Magic' whilst standing in the shop. It is a very slight work and not worth buying. But the shop had shelves full of them.
My principal bought one for our school and it is prominently displayed along with Paul Jennings similar book, which title I can't recall.

Well Susan I've just discovered I've been saying and spelling 'Sesquipedalophobia' incorrectly all this while!!!
I thought I had it off pat and no one has corrected me.

I have used the Cowling's Stareway to Spelling which helps with the 300 most-used words. But this requires daily practice, near enough. I think you have to be realistic. Anyone with a bad memory needs more than a weekly input. There are other spelling progs. like Apples and Pears which you will have...
